3 ways daily content makes growth easier

We don't HAVE to post daily content.

It's hard to keep it up.

And posting daily social content requires one of two things:

1. You spend 30-60 minutes writing every single day

2. You spend 4-5 hours writing every week, then schedule

Either way:

It's time.

Time that needs to be spent growing our businesses.

And time is one of those pesky things that we can't get a refund on.

So we have to spend it wisely.

That's why I choose to spend my precious time on posting daily content.

Because it makes growing my business easier in 3 ways:

1. Clients come to me

I've never been a huge fan of outreach.

Not because I think it's sleazy or bad, but because I don't want to spend my days sending cold emails.

So back when I started this in early 2022, I opted to create content so good clients came to me.

It worked.

There's days when I'll open up LinkedIn and a new enquiry will be sitting there waiting for me to respond, without even writing a sales post.

A dream for any business.

2. Accelerates KLT (Know, Like, Trust)

Trusting someone is hard work.

And people tend to buy from people they trust.

You don't have to get on 5 calls with someone anymore just to build up trust, get to know them and have rapport.

Because I post daily content that ranges from me getting married, to hook writing tips, to being a keen runner, to how I helped a client make $100k in 2 months.

People already know who I am, they like my vibe and they trust I know my stuff.

It's not scary to buy from me.

My content does all the pre-qualification for me.

3. Sends traffic to my assets

You probably have blogs, a newsletter, a website.

And that's great, but unless people see them it's pointless.

I use my social content as not just a lead generation channel, but a traffic generation channel.

Every piece of content I post on social sends traffic to one these 3 assets:

1. Social profile page (which links to The Digital Copywriter)

2. Newsletter welcome sequence (my free 3 Day Clients Come to You Challenge)

3. Website articles (all my best newsletter editions)

All 3 of these assets work for me.

They show my expertise, they drive product sales, they drive email sign ups.

I don't have to force any of this on a daily basis.

I simply post content and direct traffic to the places that do it for me.

Daily content doesn't make growth EASY, but it does make it EASIER.

We don't get refunds on time.

Sucks I know.

But this is why we need to spend time on the things that make things easier and faster for us in the long run.

Daily content for me, is one of those things.

Cheers,

My calendar is notoriously empty. Mainly because I understand the capacity of my energy, so I don't overdo it. And it keeps me in good spirits throughout the week. No joke, this is my calendar for next week: I'm sure more life things will pop up. But no calls, no overload of work, tons of free time to enjoy living in a country with the best beaches in the world. If I didn't protect energy like this, I'd be all over the place. Few months ago I discovered this app - Waze. It's unreal. no i'm not sponsored by waze. It's a Google Maps sat nav style app. Put your destination in and get the directions. Simple. (plus the little smiley logo is great) Except on Waze, people can upload incidents/things they come across on the road. e.g. if there's a speed camera van, you can click a button on the app and mark your position with a Police logo. Now anyone driving on that road knows there's a speed camera there. I'm not a...

I put podcasts on 1.5x speed when I run. I like to keep fit and healthy and I'm challenging myself to hit 100 runs in 2024. So I run about 3 x per week. But every time I run, I listen to a podcast and I put it on 1.5x speed. Why? Because time is of the essence. If I'm out running for 27-38 minutes and the podcast I'm listening to is 63 minutes long, I wanna be finishing it or at least listening to the bulk of it. So when I get home I can enjoy time at home with my wife. The same logic applies...
